Magic Moments: One of the most iconic dresses from one of the most memorable shows to grace the world of fashion; Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2005 aptly named ‘It’s Only A Game”. The show featured a human chess game, inspired by the very one in 'Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone', and the models were dressed suitably as the chess pieces - my favourite being Gemma Ward as the queen. This was portrayed perfectly and to the extreme as she wore a magnificent creation; a balloon skirted lilac dress with a trailed obi-style sash made of silver brocade, and a silk faille flower embroidered jacket with structured shoulders. Completely unforgettable, forever extraordinary. photos via.
I love love that these are dark without being like ~twisted~ ~evil~ whatever portrayals. Like, these are all straight-up moments from their stories but they’re haunting and sinister and wonderful.
half the blogs I follow are korean based and I’m a mess because I can’t stop crying about the ferry.
my heart goes out to all the families and wish there was something I could do for them even from all the way over here.
the beauty we learn behind this aweful tragedy from the young pure souls
- a boy give his life jacket and give all his life to help his classmate… he die as a hero on his birthday
- a young selfless ship attendant help distribute life jackets to passenger and stay behind until her last breath
- a 6 years old brother who give his life jacket to his 5 years old sister and wispher comfort even his fate is still unknown
- a student who yell for rescuer to take a small child from his arms even the ferry is sinking and he still on it
either u’re gone or safe or still missing my thought and pray goes for you…may your soul rest in peace and hope miracles exist so u can be with your love again and be safe…
